Born and raised in Missouri, Alisa currently divides her time between Los Angeles and New York where she is an active member of the independent film world. While some actors are weary of the rigors of independent film making, Alisa courageously dives into roles and enjoys the creative freedom to nurture and breathe life into a character. Her prowess on screen originates from her many years as a stage actor in St Louis and Chicago where she played roles in theatre productions such as Lanford Wilson's "Burn This" and Christopher Marlowe's "Doctor Faustus".

In between stage plays and film, Alisa pursues her second passion......music. She grew up singing and dancing in musical theatre productions such as "Cinderella", "Oklahoma" and "Peter Pan" and continues to sing every opportunity she gets. Recently, Alisa has been passionately writing her own solo material.

Whether on screen or on stage, Alisa has placed her mind, body and soul into every performance since the tender age of six, when she stepped on stage for the first time.
